Country Preparedness & Response Plans Partner
Saniservice has completed the World Health Organization (WHO) Programme for COVID-19 Operational Planning Guidelines and COVID-19 Partners Platform to Support Country Preparedness & Response Plans (CPRP).
Along with the WHO, United Nations Country Teams (UNCTs), and other relevant stakeholders including partners like Saniservice, donors and civil societies, the CPRP provides immediate support to national governments to prepare for and respond to COVID-19, by assisting all countries to rapidly detect, diagnose, and prevent the further spread of the virus.
The programme outlines the priority steps and actions in the CPRP across these major areas of the public health preparedness and response:
- Country-level coordination, planning, and monitoring
- Risk communication and community engagement
- Surveillance, rapid-response teams, and case investigation
- Points of entry
- National laboratories
- Infection prevention and control
- Case management
